ADD/ADHD
Formerly called Attention Deficit Disorder (ADD), Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) is characterized by impulsivity, hyperactivity, and inattentiveness. Both children and adults can have ADHD, but its symptoms begin in childhood.
Adjustment Disorder
Adjustment disorder is a severe, excessive reaction to a specific stressor. It occurs when a person has a great difficulty adjusting to or coping with, a particular stressor (i.e. loss or a major life change).
Anger Management
Do you have trouble controlling your anger? Do you easily get angry, even over the smallest issues? Is it starting to affect your relationships? To help control your anger issues, we offer anger management classes.
Anxiety/Panic Disorder
Panic Disorder is a type of anxiety disorder. It is a sudden and intense feeling of fear. Symptoms typically include trembling, fast heartbeat, numbness, nausea, chest pain, a fear of losing control, and chills or hot flashes.

Attachment Disorder
Attachment disorder is a broad term used to describe disorders of social relationships and behavior that can develop in young children who have problems in forming emotional attachments to others.
Behavioral Issues
We treat a variety of behavioral issues, including but not limited to Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Oppositional Defiant Disorder (ODD), and Conduct Disorder (CD).
Bipolar Disorders
Bipolar disorder is a mental illness characterized by extreme shifts in mood – from high to low, and from low to high. “Highs” are periods of mania, while “Lows” are periods of depression.

Are you struggling with your spiritual beliefs? Is your faith wavering? If you seek spiritual guidance, but you are not comfortable talking to your priest, know that we are ready to listen to you.
Child-Parent Relationship/Parenting Issues
Is your relationship with your child strained? Is there a lack of communication between you and your child? Do you find it difficult to manage your child’s behavior? Are you having parenting issues? We offer counseling sessions between children and parents to help resolve whatever conflicts you are facing.
Disruptive Behavior
Disruptive behavior is a behavioral disorder characterized by patterns of ongoing disobedient, antagonistic, and uncooperative behaviors toward authority figures. Individuals with Disruptive behavior often become resentful, vindictive, and angry towards others.
Depression
Depression is a serious mental illness characterized by changes in appetite, loss of energy, sleeping problems, feelings of worthlessness, concentration problems, lack of interest in previously enjoyed activities, and thoughts of suicide.
Impulsive Disorder
Impulse control disorders are marked by an inability to control one’s emotions and behaviors. Individuals with impulse control disorders can’t resist the urge to do something harmful – be it to themselves or others.

Mood Disorder
Mood disorders are characterized by extreme shifts in mood that can interfere with everyday life. You may be extremely irritable, sad, or you may have periods of extreme euphoria alternating with a depressed state. Examples of mood disorders include Major Depressive Disorder, Bipolar Disorder, Seasonal Affective Disorder, etc.
Marital Issues
Are you and your partner struggling to overcome conflict? Has your marriage changed in ways that you regret? Are you struggling with infidelity? If you want to mend your relationship, we have marriage counselors who can help you.
Premarital Counseling
Are you getting married soon? If you want to be fully prepared for marriage, we offer premarital counseling services. This is a specialized type of therapy that can help you better prepare for your wedding and married life.
Oppositional Defiant Disorder
Oppositional defiant disorder (ODD) is a childhood disorder. It is characterized by defiant and antagonistic behaviors directed at adults or other authority figures. Children with ODD display irritable and angry moods, as well as spiteful and confrontational behaviors.
PTSD
Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) is a disorder that can develop in people who have experienced or witness a traumatic event, such as war/combat, a terrorist act, a natural disaster, or sexual assault. Symptoms may include nightmares, severe anxiety, flashbacks, and uncontrollable thoughts about the event.
Eating Disorders
Eating disorders are serious mental illnesses characterized by disturbed or abnormal eating habits. Examples of eating disorders include Anorexia Nervosa, Bulimia Nervosa, and Binge Eating Disorder.
Sexual Orientation/Gender Identity Issues
Are you questioning your sexuality? Many individuals who are questioning their sexual orientation often find the experience very confusing and even lonely. If you are struggling to understand yourself, or if you need support after being rejected as you “came out”, we are here for you.
Grief/Loss/Bereavement Counseling
Grief is a natural reaction to losing someone you love. However, when it starts to impair your day-to-day living, you may want to consider seeking professional help. Our grief counselors can help you process the loss that you have experienced and help you find healthier ways to cope.
Step/Blended Families
Blending a family can be a difficult process. Stepfamilies or blended families may find it helpful to talk with a therapist about any issues that may arise.
Crisis intervention
We offer crisis intervention services. Crisis intervention is short-term, psychological care provided to individuals experiencing a crisis. A crisis can be defined as any event or situation that causes distress to the individual.

Individual Counseling
Do you want to talk to a counselor one-on-one? We offer individual counseling services wherein you get to meet with a licensed counselor in a private, confidential setting. During sessions, individuals are encouraged to talk about their feelings, thoughts, beliefs, and whatever challenging issues they would like to address.
Group Therapy
Are you looking for people who can truly understand what you are going through? Group therapy involves a group of people who meet to discuss their problems together under the supervision of a licensed therapist. We offer group therapy services for grief/bereavement, relationship problems, and anger management for youth (13 – 17 years old).
Family Therapy
Is your family relationship strained? Our family therapy service is designed to help families solve family problems, improve communication, and handle special family situations (i.e. death, mental illness, etc.). Through family therapy, we aim to create a better home environment for you and your family.
Home Visits
Are you uncomfortable about going to a clinic or hospital for counseling? If you are more comfortable about receiving counseling in your own home, our therapists can conduct home visits.
